Envibrance Dream Apparel’s “Live Boldly, On Purpose” hoodie was recently featured in Karis Magazine’s Karis Couture feature. Karis Magazine features fashion and organizations that support important causes and are aimed at making a difference in the world – which is the passion and heart of Envibrance – a portion of the proceeds for every item purchased will go toward helping children affected by poverty around the world.

The design on the hoodie is also available as T-shirts for both Men and Women.

This year we have an extra day to make a leap toward our purpose. I wanted to share this message from my heart and a poem I wrote above entitled “Dreams in Due Season” to encourage you to keep going where ever you are on your journey…

So many of us start out life dreaming in wide-eyed wonder – then life happens and leaves us in a dazed slumber. We face disappointments, discouragement and detours- and we get practical…

We become sleepwalkers, settling for the ordinary because the dreams we had seem too lofty, too out of reach. My journey has been similar; throughout the years I’ve had great visions yet often get lost in loneliness and and weary when the dreams don’t always grow the way I imagined.

I want to encourage you today to arise, shine and bring those dreams back to life. Everyone was born with purpose and no one’s purpose is more important than another’s. There are dreams in your heart that were planted there for a reason to impact the world – we all miss out if you don’t water them.

It’s up to you to nurture them – give them some love and let them grow today. Don’t give up on your purpose…you’ll reap a harvest in due season if you don’t give up!

My dream is to inspire you to realize and pursue the importance of your purpose.

This year I’ve decided to embrace my natural hair more (that means putting down the flat iron to let my hair rest). When I was younger I never knew how to tame the curls but now I’m just going to let them be free – you can call me a natural dreamer. What is a feature about yourself that makes you cringe but that you can learn to love? – Julene Fleurmond, Founder & Designer of Envibrance Dream Apparel

The New Year is a fresh canvas, and we can either hesitantly hover our brushes over the blank surface in indecision, or boldly move to create the life we’ve always envisioned. I dare you this year to arise and shine, let your deepest dreams vibrantly come alive again and nurture them back to health.

You have so much beauty within you waiting to be released, but the world won’t be able to see or be enriched by it until you make a move.

It may take time, a lot of perseverance and patience but when your aspirations begin to take flight off of the sketchpad of your mind you’ll be in awe of the wonder of the experience… so get to painting those dreams into reality!

Above: Arise & Shine T-Shirt from my Envibrance Dream Apparel line. For this design I picked up my paintbrush after abandoning it for so long for the ease of the computer, and almost forgot how liberating it is to create so freely. I kept procrastinating getting my paintset out in fear that it would be difficult since I haden’t done it in so long, but I am glad I did!

Everyone has dreams and everyone has purpose. Live boldly and on purpose – you are here for a reason!

Here’s an upbeat typography tee from our Dream in Soul collection, reminding of the Proverb that says “A Joyful Heart is Good Medicine.” Even news reports say that laughter can soothe stress and heal the heart (so Smile:).

Julene, the founder of Envibrance Dream Apparel was inspired to begin the company after a series of events:

- Ever since she was a child Julene has enjoyed painting, drawing, and other arts and crafts and attempts to use her abilities as gifts to others. She started her design and media company Envibrance Studios in 2002 as a teen, minored in art in college and wanted to find a way to create original art to share with others…



- She had always liked cute and feminine t-shirts, but often could not find any with messages she liked or with un-cluttered, pretty graphics that could be dressed up with cute layering and accessories or dressed down for casual occasions. (Of course we also offer T-shirts for guys too!:)



- When visiting her mother’s homeland of Haiti after the earthquake she was shocked at the standards of living there and wanted to give back in some way through product sales (a portion of Envibrance Dream Apparel sales will go towards charitable causes, including helping people in Haiti). She also saw some of her cousins in Haiti wearing second-hand brand-name t-shirts with scary images of skulls and decided to create positive t-shirts for youth to wear instead (this is an upcoming project of Envibrance Dream Creations, stay tuned).



- While working with youth as a motivational speaker, Julene often saw teens and tweens wearing shirts with negative messages. She began creating her own positive shirts to sell and wear at events, and to donate to special youth events and organizations (such as the shirts pictured below).

- There are so many t-shirts out there already but very few merge positive messages with bold, artistic graphics – there’s a first time for everything;)
